Thank you dear people who responded to my last post!!! I LOVED reading your replies! I'm fairly new at blogging and I must say you've given me something to think about. Thanks for your insight. And thanks for voting for me!!! It is people like YOU who make this place so dang awesome! You make my blogging world go 'round!! I love you!!

But at the same time I was disturbed. hahaha A few of you seem a bit tense and bitter concerning my silly blog. I suggest that one or two of you should take yoga or something. Perhaps mix a drink or two. Kool-aide of course! Or... taking a flying leap. It's your choice. If you don't like me blog then just don't read it. There!!

I love blogging because I've discovered incredible writers I love who I never would have known without it. You people on my friends list ROCK!!! I've read about your lives. Ups and downs and you've stolen my heart in a way. I enjoy the relationships that have been forged in comment threads, who are loyal readers. I love the connections that have been made and continue to be made with creative people around the world. With very, very few exceptions the people I've come to know who make up my blogosphere are the coolest, most supportive people I've ever met. At least that's what I assume. You could all be serial killers, blogging from prison and I wouldn't know it. But, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt. But, if you are, please email me. It'll be great material for a future post.

I'm serious about that.

I love the little communities we have built here on Mindsay and how each community has its own style. Some are very serious and some not so serious at all. And then sometimes, an excellent writer combines a very serious issue with a dose of humor and I find myself laughing and crying and once again grateful for this connection.

I love blogging. I love the ability to write how I feel (silly or what!) and put it out there and get feedback (usually positive, occasionally trollish). I like sharing my life (mostly the ups) with all of you and hearing your thoughts on things. In a weird way, I feel very connected to you, though most of you are total strangers. Blogging has a way of making the world seem a little smaller and a little less impersonal and I like that.

I truly do love blogging.
