politicsMy government is poison. My nation's ideological superstructure is fundamentally flawed. My people's God is money; their blood oil. The Military Industrial Complex that Eisenhower foretold is a reality. Saying that my political system is corrupted would be an understatement; it is riddled with cancer so completely that the healthy cells are almost indistinguishable from the sick and dying.
Yes. Americans can be ignorant.
Yes. Americans can be arrogant.
However, first and foremost on this planet I am a human being, as are you, regardless of your nationality or creed or ethnicity or gender. Racism and ethnic hate is ignorant. Putting every American into one convenient stereotype of “imperialist moron” is just as arrogant. How can you so blindly condemn everyone in my nation when you yourself are so heavily afflicted with our vices?
