My boyfriend and I are... strange. Following is a conversation we had when meeting a few friends for breakfast this morning...

Eddie: "He's like a walking disease."
Amanda, half-asleep and barely paying attention: "Can I meet him?"
Eddie: "Why would you want to meet him? WALKING DISEASE."
Amanda: "Yeah, exactly. JOAQUIN PHOENIX. I love him."
Eddie: "What the hell are you talking about? What's Joaquin Phoenix have to do with anything?"
Amanda: "You said he's like Joaquin Phoenix."
Eddie: "Noooo, I said he's like a walking disease."

Amanda: "Oh. Nevermind. Gross."
Eddie, stomping toward the restrooms: "YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME."
Friend, Donnie, not bothering to look up from the paper: "Eddie's feeling a little emotional today."

No kidding... I wonder why I'm dating him. We bicker. Always have. For someone so smart he's an idiot. hahaha
