I was sitting across my desk, watching my charming (ahem!) co-worker, Carl, review his retirement plan (Well... The Georgia Lottery's version of a retirement plan - a crossword scratch off ticket) while chitchatting about generic stuff when some of the letters on his crosswords caught my eye...

Me: Hey, Carl... What's a "copire."

Carl: I think it's "co-pire."

Silence follows as he continues to scratch off the letters.

Carl: Oh! Wait! That says "copier"!
